Lacquered Collection
The design process begins at our studio in London and travels to our artisans in Italy, who hand-craft our products that make up the MG&Co. Lacquered collection.

THE DESIGN
Stained panels of Maple, Bolivar, Tay and Mahogany wood are inlaid and lacquered layer-upon-layer to achieve a high gloss finish. This marquetry results in a unique mix of grains and knots, brought seamlessly together.

Always inspired by timeless designs from the past, Matilda looked to a favourite artist as well as references from her travels for the design of the rainbow lacquer pieces.
